Drinqsy is a location-first drink discovery and decision-making app. We value your privacy. This policy explains how the app collects, uses, discloses, and protects your data, as well as the choices you have regarding your data. By downloading or using the app, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

1 Data Sources and Purpose of Use

The app collects data to provide core features and improve service quality. This mainly includes:

• Location information: Used to search and sort nearby drink shops, display map markers, and support related analysis.
• Usage and interaction data: Such as searches, page views, saved brands, and feature usage, used to understand product usage and continuously improve the experience.
• Device and diagnostic data: Such as device model, operating system version, app version, and crash records, used to maintain stability and troubleshoot issues.
• Preferences: Such as language, appearance, and saved brands, primarily stored locally to remember your choices.

We do not use the above data to track personal identity, and we do not sell your personal data.

2 Device and Location Information

To show nearby shops, Drinqsy needs access to your location. Location data is used only for real-time search and service quality analysis, and is not used to identify or track you personally.

You can turn off location access in system settings at any time. Even if location permission is not granted, location is temporarily unavailable, or the network is unstable, the app will use a default location, cached location, or other fallback strategy to provide understandable content instead of becoming unusable.

3 Third-Party Services and Tools

The app integrates the following types of third-party services to provide maps, analytics, remote configuration, advertising, and related features. These services may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

• Map services: Used to display maps, markers, and navigation, such as Apple Maps, Google Maps, and Naver Map.
• Analytics and remote configuration: Used for event tracking, operational strategy, and basic analysis, such as Firebase Analytics and Remote Config.
• Advertising services: Used to show ads when eligible, as described in the next section.

We require third-party services to follow their data transfer and privacy requirements. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of each service provider as well.

4 Advertising and Consent Management

The app may show banner or native ads based on remote configuration. In applicable regions, we provide consent flows according to local regulations so you can manage personalized advertising preferences.

When consent is not completed, remote switches are off, or ads fail to load, ads are suppressed and core features are not affected. Ad display is treated as a suppressible capability, with the integrity of the primary experience protected first.

5 Personal Identification and Security

The app does not require account creation and does not use location or usage data to identify individual users. Saved brands, language, appearance, and similar preferences are primarily stored locally and are not forced to sync to the cloud.

We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect data security. Service credentials, keys, and third-party settings are not written into public source files, and we follow third-party service data transfer and privacy requirements. However, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be one hundred percent secure.

We may update this policy from time to time. When major changes are made, we will update the Last updated date on this page. We recommend checking it periodically.
